The Group

The Saur group is a leader in outsourced service management for local communities in the French water and sanitation sectors.

In France, the Saur group manages approximately 5,700 water contracts. It serves 5.5 million consumers in over 6,700 communes.

In the sanitation sector, the Saur group manages over 1,000 household waste collection contracts, consequently serving over 5 million residents.

The Saur group is also, through its subsidiary Stereau, one of the French market leaders in the design/construction of water treatment facilities. As of 31 March 2008, 55 plants were under construction, among which some of the largest-scale projects in France. Of note, Stereau builds wastewater treatment plants in Paris and Lyon.

At the fiscal year ended 31 March 2008, the Saur group realized net sales (*) of euros 1.49 billion.
