Saumur (Maine-et-Loire): a playground for children with psychomotor impairment.
Improving the lives of children with a disability and in hospital – that is the goal of the Les Vendanges de l’Espoir association. Saur Solidarités has supported the association by funding equipment for a medical/educational centre.
Benin: Saur Solidarités makes a commitment to children forced to work.
Saur Solidarités is supporting the Espoirs d’Enfants association in its work to help and assist children hired on markets. The support provided by Saur Solidarités funds the running costs of the Parakou home, which provides literacy, cooking and sewing lessons to girls.
Burkina Faso : quatre puits pour soutenir le Burkina Faso: four wells to support the development of a village.
Four boreholes were drilled for the inhabitants of Kokologho. Their construction, funded by Saur Solidarités, is part of a series of projects designed to provide the population of this rural village with long-term and comprehensive support.
Southern India: water for the “untouchables”.
The “untouchables” are among the most vulnerable communities in India. Saur Solidarités has provided support for the work carried out in Pallapatty by the Kynarou association as part of the WatSan project, which aims to create access to water and toilet facilities in the village.
Jordan: optimising access to water for Syrian refugees and the vulnerable population of Jordan.
Jordan receives thousands of refugees from the war in Syria. Saur Solidarités has teamed up with Action Against Hunger to facilitate access to water and sanitation.
Laos: a commitment to the end of the world.
The support provided by Saur Solidarités to the Laos Education Scolarité Avenir association has improved access to drinking water in the remote villages of Houy Seng Maï and Hat Kham through the installation of water adduction pipes and the creation of water storage tanks.
Senegal: a “Water House” for the women of Saly-Joseph.
Often lacking any suitable equipment, doing the laundry is generally a laborious task for women in the poorest regions of Africa. The “Water House” project in Senegal, carried out with the help of Saur Solidarités, will change the lives of the “washerwomen” in the village of Saly-Joseph.
Togo: 10 wells for sustainable agro-forestry in the Sahel region.
Saur Solidarités has supported the construction of 10 wells in a village in northern Togo. Market gardening and fruit trees have gradually become an established part of the local landscape, improving the lives of numerous families.
