The Saur Group has created a new Public-Sector Services Department, headed by Senior Executive Vice-President Vincent Pégoud, and has appointed Xavier Piccino as Senior Executive Vice-President, France Est

The Saur Group has created a new Business Unit to serve the specific needs of public-sector utility
authorities, and has appointed Vincent Pégoud as Senior Executive Vice-President Public-Sector
Services with a seat on the General Management Committee. Xavier Piccino has been appointed Senior
Executive Vice-President France Est, and also joins the Group General Management Committee.

Saur accelerates its pace of development in a new market segment focused on service provision
to local authorities

This new Business Unit has been formed as a direct response to recent changes in the water market,
and particularly the remunicipalization of public-sector water services, new expectations in terms of
ecological transition and data-driven service management for local authority customers. The Public-
Sector Services Department complements and strengthens the commercial growth strategy of the Saur
Group. Its ambition is to create new opportunities with these key water market players through
committed and proactive market positioning and a range of services dedicated to their needs.

Vincent Pégoud has been appointed as Senior Executive Vice-President Public-Sector Services.

Having joined the Group in 2019 as Senior Executive Vice President, France Est, he will contribute his regional
operational experience to building a substantial long-term dialog with local authorities, and developing
long-term solutions that benefit users and protect water resources.
He will have full responsibility for managing the strategy and new business functions of the new
department and overseeing the creation of a new package of services and modular digital solutions
tailored to the needs of public-sector water companies. Vincent will also continue to head up Group
operations in the French overseas departments and territories (DROM-COM), and will take over
responsibility for our High-Pressure Pipeline Cleaning and Sludge Recovery businesses.

Xavier Piccino is appointed Senior Executive Vice-President, France Est

As head of the France Est region, Xavier Piccino will be responsible for continuing and consolidating
the transformation of our French organizational structure on the basis that operational excellence is an
essential lever for delivering the ecological transition for water at regional level.
Xavier Piccino is a graduate of Mines Paris Tech and the Ecole Polytechnique. Having joined the Group
two years ago as Regional Director for the Ile-de-France and Hauts-de-France regions, he now takes
over leadership of the France-Est region (59 departments and 6 regional divisions) and becomes a
member of the General Management Committee.
