Your challenges

Presence of algae and organic matter
Reservoir or river waters can carry high loads of organic matter and algal blooms. These affect raw water quality, causing turbidity, taste, odor, and filter clogging. They can be removed early in the clarification stage with Aeroflux®.

Clarification efficiency
Some waters, such as peatland water, have low suspended solids but high color and are difficult to treat by sedimentation. A more effective alternative is needed to ensure water clarity. Flotation handles these challenging cases efficiently.

Footprint and equipment optimization
Facilities often face space constraints. The process must be compact and limit the need for additional structures like sludge thickening and we offer a simple, compact, and effective solution

Adaptable to existing treatment plants
During algal blooms or frequent start-stop cycles, treatment must remain stable and reliable. Operators must maintain water quality with minimal intervention. High tolerance to variability is a major asset.
How does it work ?
First step
Aeroflux® combines coagulation, flocculation, and dissolved air flotation. Pressurized microbubbles are injected to lighten the formed flocs, which float to the surface and are scraped off.
Second step
The clarified water is then collected by overflow, achieving optimal performance even under challenging conditions.

Reliable and effective
Aeroflux® efficiently removes organic matter and algae, even during bloom periods. It ensures outstanding water quality from the clarification stage. Its performance remains stable, even with frequent restarts.

Compact and integrable
With a compact footprint comparable to a lamella settler, it fits easily into new or existing plants. Surface rates can reach up to 10 m/h. It reduces the need for complementary structures like sludge thickening.
Cost effective
Water loss is minimal (down to 0.2% with scraping). The process uses little energy and requires no heavy equipment. It offers an excellent techno-economic balance.
Easy to operate
Automated scraping and simple hydraulics make operation easy. The process tolerates load fluctuations well and requires no complex adjustments. It is ideal for variable conditions.
