Your challenges
Clarification and powdered activated carbon polishing

Increased turbidity during heavy rainfall
Surface waters become quickly turbid after heavy rain, complicating treatment. Suspended particles in these waters often carry microorganisms and signal the presence of micropollutants.
Chronic presence of micropollutants
Pesticides, drug residues, and other pollutants are increasingly detected in water sources. Even at low levels, they may harm living organisms. A dedicated adsorption process is required.
Stricter regulatory requirements
Drinking water regulations are increasingly stringent, especially regarding pesticides and treatment by-products. Clean water must be guaranteed without converting pollutants into toxic residues and our technology is a safe, proven, and reliable process.
Economic and operating issues
Facilities need efficient and compact solutions without increasing operational complexity. CLARICARB® is fully automated and runs with minimal chemicals and energy. A sustainable investment for continuous performance.
How does it work ?
CLARICARB® combines coagulation-settling with the adsorption of micropollutants using powdered activated carbon (PAC).
The PAC is continuously renewed and recirculated, ensuring high and consistent treatment efficiency.
The system adjusts in real time to variations in turbidity and incoming water quality for optimal performance.

Reliable and comprehensive
CLARICARB® simultaneously removes turbidity, organic matter, and micropollutants (pesticides, drug residues, endocrine disruptors…). It performs even during pollution spikes. A robust, continuous response to water quality challenges.
Compact and integrated
The process can be easily integrated into all treatment stages, before filtration or ultrafiltration. Its autonomous operation limits the need for intervention, even in the event of sudden degradation of the resource.
Economical
CLARICARB® stands out for its low energy and reagent consumption, as well as a wide range of available activated carbons. This flexibility allows for precise adjustment according to treatment objectives. The process ensures an excellent performance-to-cost ratio.
Easy to operate
Automated operation continuously adjusts reagent dosing based on water quality. Carbon recirculation maximizes usage, reducing costs and waste. Maintenance is minimal due to the absence of complex equipment.
