With today’s rising pressure on the quantity and quality of water, this precious resource is in dire need of revaluing - environmentally, socially, economically, technologically. It’s time to turn the tide. To ensure that water is valued as the revitalizing force it has always been, and to make this value equally accessible to all living beings.

The impact of how we interact with water

Across many geographies throughout history, water is seen as sacred, a source of energy, a life-giver. The ancient Greeks identified it as one of the four fundamental elements of the cosmos as we know it. Today, water and waterways bring health and renewal, trade opportunities, prosperity. Our ability to preserve it, and to rebalance our interactions with it, has a direct influence on other major global challenges. From climate change to food security, from sustainable cities to inclusiveness. Dealing well with water can contribute to life and prosperity in many situations around the globe. We want to create and deliver a positive impact across our ecosystems by championing a true water transition.

Streamlining the sector with digitalization

With 80% of our activities to be automated by 2023, we are now preparing to harness data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) for our mission. Saur clients will benefit in many important ways, for example: reduced water and energy consumption, less use of chemicals, lower costs through predictive maintenance, and more effective management of water flows, for example, in extreme weather conditions. Digitalization will contribute substantially to our impact as Water Performance Experts.
