Saur and Derichebourg announce a strategic partnership to provide water and sanitation services to local authorities.
Derichebourg, via its subsidiary Derichebourg Expansion, today completes the sale to the Saur Group of 51% of the capital in the company Derichebourg Aqua (which owns Derichebourg Aqua Océan Indien).
Derichebourg Aqua, which was created in 2012, manages public collective sanitation services for the municipalities of Verneuil-sur-Seine and Vernouillet (Yvelines) and for the Syndicat Mixte d’Assainissement (mixed sanitation association) in Les Sablons (Oise), as well as drinking water services in Saint-Leu (Réunion) through its subsidiary Derichebourg Aqua Océan Indien.
This sale is being concluded as part of a strategic partnership agreement between the two groups to reciprocally develop our activities.
Patrick Blethon, Executive Chairman of Saur, comments: “I would like to thank the Directors of the Derichebourg Group, a leader in environmental services, for enabling this merger between our two companies in respect of water services. Our respective experience in serving local authorities and users and our shared desire to offer a different water service, lie at the heart of this strategic partnership.”
