A stronger local service for users
A partner of the Grand Guéret Urban Community since 1991, Saur France is continuing its commitment to ensuring efficient and sustainable management of drinking water and wastewater services. The new four-year service contract, renewable twice for two years, began on the 1st of January 2025.
As part of an enhanced local approach, a dedicated local team will be on call at all times, with an on-call team specifically dedicated to the conurbation. In addition, a rapid intervention vehicle (Véhicule d’Intervention Rapide – VIR) equipped with a mini-hydrocleaning machine will be put in place to deal immediately with emergencies such as blocked pipes.
Innovative digital tools for optimised network operation
To guarantee optimised network management, Saur France deploys cutting-edge technologies that promote precision, transparency and efficiency:
- Viseau, a data management platform that makes it easier to coordinate, report and prioritise tasks
- Optim+ and Eveler, solutions using data to improve operational performance and optimise energy consumption
Responsible and sustainable management of water resources
At a time when water management is a crucial issue, this contract also provides for support for the Urban Community in its project to reuse treated wastewater (REUT) at the Les Gouttes plant. This initiative, which is fully integrated into the region’s ecological transition, will enable treated water to be reused for non-drinking purposes, thereby limiting the waste of water resources.
With this contract renewal, Saur France is reaffirming its commitment to innovative and sustainable water management for the residents of the Grand Guéret Urban Community.
