Your challenges
Patented wastewater treatment process

Rising presence of micropollutants in water
Domestic, industrial and agricultural activities generate numerous substances (pesticides, pharmaceuticals, endocrine disruptors…) that end up in wastewater. Though present in trace amounts, their combination creates a cocktail effect with potentially serious impacts on aquatic ecosystems. Conventional treatment plants are not equipped to remove them effectively.
Ecological and regulatory challenges
Protecting aquatic environments requires going beyond conventional biological treatment. Regulatory demands are intensifying in line with the EU Water Framework Directive. A complementary solution targeting micropollutants is essential.
Integration into existing plants
Many treatment plants need upgrading to meet new standards without building new infrastructure. Our technology integrates easily within compact facilities and also allows future expansion.
Operating cost control
Technology must remain cost-effective both in CAPEX and OPEX. CarboPlus® operates with low energy needs and optimized activated carbon, including regenerable options. Dosage is adjustable based on performance objectives.
How does it work ?
Flow
CarboPlus® uses gravity-based adsorption, guiding wastewater through a suspended activated carbon bed that is continuously renewed
Contact
Extended contact time enables effective removal of a wide range of dissolved micropollutants.
Simplicity
With no internal electromechanical components, the system is low-maintenance and easy to operate.

Reliable and effective
CarboPlus® removes more than 80 to 90% of targeted micropollutants: pharmaceuticals, endocrine disruptors, and recalcitrant organics. It complements biological treatment and ensures enhanced discharge quality. A proven solution with many operational references.
Compact and integrable
The process integrates easily into plants without major structural modifications. Its compact size allows installation even on constrained sites. It is modular and scalable based on flow and treatment goals.
Cost-effective
Gravity-driven operation, low chemical use, and reduced maintenance make CarboPlus® operationally economical. It works with various activated carbons, including regenerable ones. The performance-to-cost ratio is optimized.
Easy to operate
The system is automated, with natural gravity separation of water and carbon. Activated carbon is added automatically, with optional UV-based adjustment. Operation remains simple and reliable even with varying loads.
