The initiative will focus on desalination and sewage treatment plants, covering project development, engineering, procurement, construction, and long-term operations and maintenance. The collaboration will also target industrial water treatment through concession and operations contracts, deliver end-to-end development of treatment plants from design to long-term operations, and jointly pursue projects across Saudi Arabia’s growing urban and industrial sectors. These initiatives support the National Transformation Program’s goals of ensuring the sustainability of vital resources and building resilient infrastructure.
The signing ceremony included senior executives from both companies, including Samer Abdul Samad, President & CEO of Nesma & Partners; Patrick Blethon, Executive Chairman of Saur Group; and Faisal AlTurki, Nesma & Partners’ Board Member, in the presence of Mohammed Nehad, Consul General of France in Jeddah.
