Saur France and Hydreaulys establish Hylio in the heart of Versailles to bring wastewater services closer to residents

A dedicated company created by Saur France to operate the Hydreaulys contract, Hylio brings together in Versailles the teams responsible for delivering the wastewater service daily.
Located at 2 esplanade du Grand Siècle, Hylio now provides a single site for both its teams and user reception: the company’s headquarters also includes a dedicated customer service area. This central location in Versailles reflects the ambition to make proximity a tangible reality.

Users can therefore meet Hylio employees in person and receive support with their procedures, whether related to a connection request, a construction project, a house move or a question about how the wastewater service operates.

This setup remains rare for a public service exclusively dedicated to wastewater. It is one of the key markers of the ambition pursued by Saur France under the contract with Hydreaulys: to make a public service that is sometimes invisible more accessible, closer to users and easier for residents to understand.

Behind the networks, wastewater treatment plants and technical interventions, wastewater management is an essential service in everyday life. It contributes directly to residents’ quality of life, the preservation of natural environments and the smooth functioning of the local area.

To guarantee a high-quality service, Hylio draws on the solutions and technologies developed by Saur France for wastewater network operations.

For example, the contract provides for the deployment of hundreds of sensors across the network and the use of predictive models to anticipate incidents, secure wastewater transport and optimize team interventions.

Hylio also provides local authorities with Viseau, a tool fully designed by Saur France, to transform the way wastewater networks are managed. This platform brings together operational data, performance indicators and network mapping in a single space, while facilitating transparency and collaboration between teams and local authorities.

These systems make it possible to improve knowledge of the assets, strengthen team responsiveness and shift network management towards a more preventive and predictive approach across the entire wastewater system.
