With 90 of France’s 96 départements under drought alert, Saur France is mobilising to raise public awareness of water use through a travelling educational village.
There are plenty of fun activities on offer, including water-based painting, a game of snakes and ladders to test your knowledge, decantation workshops to analyse and understand the different stages in water treatment at wastewater treatment plants, and a water bar where you can see the difference between mineral water and spring water.
These free events are an opportunity to reaffirm Saur’s value of proximity, to strengthen consumer confidence and also to forge closer links with the local
authorities who are hosting the village in their area.
For over 10 years, in partnership with local authorities, Saur France has made sharing knowledge and raising awareness a priority to promote collective responsibility for water-related issues by developing information programmes on water and biodiversity for the general public.
After 13 stages in July, the Fête de l’Eau continues in August and will be celebrated
in 7 French towns:
– 01/08 at Biscarosse
– 02/08 at Sainte Marie de Ré
– 03/08 at Pornichet
– 04/08 at Saint Briac sur Mer
– 05/08 at Erquy
