The Saur Group opens its Lyon-Gerland Operations Control Centre as the central data link for smart water management in 27 departments of Eastern France

Officially opened today, 4 December 2014, the Lyon OCC® brings together around 100 employees with the key skills required to respond effectively to the needs of local authorities in their management of water resources and associated services Invented by Saur in 2007, the OCC® is simultaneously a response control and allocation centre and a water data collection and analysis platform. It is also, and above all, a forum for discussion and information sharing with local authorities. The opening of the Lyon-Gerland Operations Control Centre in the Rhône region of France means that the 30,000 operational facilities managed by Saur on behalf of local authorities are now linked to the company’s 8 OCCs® around the country.
