Saur Group Appointments

Louis-Roch Burgard, Executive Chairman, has announced three new appointments to further enhance the governance of the Saur Group.

Vincent Pégoud, Deputy Director Centre East

Vincent Pégoud has been appointed Deputy Director Centre East covering 26 French départements and the Rhin-Rhône and Rhône-Alpes-Auvergne regional divisions. Based in Lyon, he is a member of the Executive Committee.

Vincent Pégoud, 43, is a process engineering engineer. He studied at the Ecole des mines d'Albi-Carmaux and graduated in urban services management. He has twenty years of experience in business unit management, focusing on business model transformation, economic recovery and related business development.

He began his career in the Regional Department of Industry, Research and Environment (Drire) in the Midi-Pyrénées before joining Vivendi's water and waste division in 1998. In 2000, he joined the recycling and recovery division of Suez where he took on operational responsibilities as IDF (Ile-de-France) Director of Operations in Brétigny-sur-Orge, IDF Branch Manager in Limeil-Brévannes, Development Director and Branch Manager in Tours. In 2010, he was appointed Deputy Managing Director South West in Bordeaux, with responsibility for local authority and corporate affairs, during which time he developed new sectors and made business acquisitions. In 2016, he joined the IDF corporate services department as Deputy Managing Director. Vincent Pégoud took up his new position on 4 March 2019.

Yohann Serane, Purchasing and Supply Chain Director

Yohann Serane, 42, is a graduate of the Ecole nationale supérieure d'art et industrie de Strasbourg (Ensais). He has been appointed Purchasing and Supply Chain Director within the Operations and Digital Transformation Department.

He began his career in Germany in 2000, specialising in research, and then production and projects in the automotive industry before managing worldwide supplier quality at Valeo Eclairage. He then founded an e-commerce start-up before joining Veolia's transport division in 2009 as Global Category Manager in charge of heavy vehicles and a logistics project to bypass transport division distributors. Before taking up his responsibilities at Saur, Yohann Serane was Group Purchasing & Division Purchasing Director at Imerys.

As part of our Initiative corporate project, his core assignments will be to implement an ambitious purchasing policy to meet performance challenges, set up a new supply chain organisation in France and internationally, and deploy a programme to modernise and digitalise logistics and purchasing activities. Yohann Serane took up his new position on 14 January.

Jean-Marc Halochet, Managing Director of Cise TP

Jean-Marc Halochet, 52, holds a university-level technical diploma in civil engineering (Rennes), and began his career in 1989 at Cegelec catenaire France as an electrification works supervisor.

He joined Cise TP in 1991 where he successively held the positions of works supervisor, assistant centre manager, and assistant works manager for Brittany before being appointed Regional Manager Grand Ouest in 2013. Jean-Marc Halochet is an active member of the regional federation of public works and departmental delegate for pipe systems maintenance operatives, and a recognised specialist in the field of pipes and pipes maintenance and the management of construction business units.

He took up his new position on 1 March 2019.
